Description:

The wine shop project emerged from a deep passion for sharing knowledge about the world of wine. The owner, a well known sommelier with extensive experience in both local and international culinary industries, aimed to create a space dedicated to wine experiences, knowledge sharing, and community building. The shop's focal point is a stainless steel table that encourages human interaction. This table is the heart of the shop, where tastings, lectures on unique grape varieties, and sales transactions occur, guiding the circular flow of movement within the store.

The wine presentation in this project was designed with a museum-like quality. It was crucial to develop a minimal yet uncrowded display system to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. This system features red MDF panels combined with stainless steel elements. MDF was chosen not only for its accessibility and availability but also for its rich and deep visual and textural quality. From a distance, the MDF appears as a dominant and opaque material, but up close, the thousands of compressed wood chips resemble Italian terrazzo, revealing the material's true nature.
